5 Killer Ways to Get Noticed

{Kill the inner (negative) monologue}

If you struggle to be seen and heard, then these killer ways to get noticed will help you stand out and lead your tribe with integrity + passion.

“The older you get, the more you understand how your conscience works. The biggest and only critic lives in your perception of people’s perception of you rather than people’s perception of you.” ~ Criss Jami

Criticism is lethal, for your motivation.

It’s like a disease that stops you in our tracks, like a racing car that hits a wall full throttle. I’m my biggest and worst critic. And you may be yours.

It’s not always easy to let go of the self criticism – but you should at least try, because…

Perception is killing our society.

It creates gossip, misunderstandings, and arguments… perception breaks up relationships, friendships, and self esteems… and I believe it is one of the biggest causes of failure! If you want to grow your business to the next level, you need to stop the (negative) inner dialogue.

Kill the voice inside of your head before it becomes a crowd (of naysayers). Give yourself permission to be… imperfect. It’s liberating. You’ll never be able to please everyone. So stop right now. As long as you give your best every single day you give enough.

{DON’T fake it till you make it}

It’s inauthentic. Especially when you’re trying to portray success, when really you haven’t made a sense. Don’t confuse trying to grow into your new role with faking it. There’s nothing wrong with feeling your way to more success. But boasting about being successful when you’re not is not cool.

I’ll let you in on a little secret… passionate people are authentic. You cannot fake passion. Passion is raw… it’s intense… and it’s sexy as hell. You may not always agree with a passionate person, because they could be backing the other team, but you’ll appreciate their honesty.

{Swoon your style}

If you want to convince me of your brilliance, you need to show me what you’ve got. Swoon your style by being true to yourself. Stop chasing BSOs (bright shiny objects). BSOs kill your creativity. Be original and don’t be afraid to be different.

{Speak up}

If you want to stand out, you need to speak up. No one wants to listen to and follow a wallflower. People love leadership. They dig purpose, passion, and causes. We’re pack animals and tend to hang out (follow) people we feel safe around.

If you think there’s not enough room at the top, you’re wrong. So speak up. Show us what you’ve got.

{Visualise the outcome}

If you don’t know where you want to take your business, you’ll keep turning in circles!

Jim Rohn said, “Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.”

I’m a HUGE fan of vision boards and creative visualisation. In fact every single vision board I’ve created has turned into reality, much faster than I’d hoped for. It’s almost uncanny.

But just to be clear: visions boards alone won’t make you rich or successful. You’ve got to take consistent action steps that are in line with your dreams + surround yourself with a rock-solid support team.
